This Privacy Policy explains how Brix AI collects, uses, processes, stores and protects information when you use our Android application, website and related services.
Introduction
Brix AI is an artificial intelligence assistant developed and operated by Finix Studios.
This Privacy Policy applies whenever you use the Brix AI Android application, its website, connected backend services or related features.
By using Brix AI, you acknowledge that information may be processed as described in this policy. Features that require access to sensitive device capabilities, such as the microphone or camera, are used only after you initiate the relevant feature and grant permission.
Information we may process
The categories of information processed depend on the features you choose to use.

Android permissions
Brix AI may request the following Android permissions when required for a feature.
Internet access
Internet access is required to communicate with Brix AI's secure backend and AI processing services.
Microphone
Microphone access is requested when you activate voice input. It is used to capture your speech for transcription. Brix AI does not intentionally activate the microphone in the background.
Camera
Camera access is requested when you choose to take a photo inside the app. Captured images may then be submitted for analysis only after your action.
Photos, documents and media
The system file picker or photo picker may be used to let you choose specific content. The app does not require unrestricted access to your entire media library when selected-item access is sufficient.
You can deny or revoke permissions at any time from your Android device settings. Some related features may stop working when permission is denied.
How we use information
Information may be used to:
- Respond to prompts and provide AI assistance.
- Analyse user-submitted screenshots, images, documents and other files.
- Convert user speech into editable text.
- Maintain conversation history and user settings.
- Authenticate users and provide account-related features.
- Detect abuse, fraud, security incidents and technical failures.
- Improve performance, stability and user experience.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce applicable terms.
We do not use private chat content to secretly impersonate users or publish their conversations.
Artificial intelligence processing
When you submit a message, selected image, document or another supported input, the content may be sent through Brix AI's backend to third-party AI infrastructure providers that help generate a response.
These service providers may include text-generation, vision-analysis, speech-recognition, hosting, security and database providers. Depending on the active configuration, AI processing providers may include services such as Cerebras, Groq or another compatible provider.
Submitted content is shared only as reasonably necessary to provide the requested feature, maintain security or fulfil legal obligations.
AI-generated responses can be inaccurate. Users should independently verify important medical, legal, financial, safety or other high-impact information.
How information may be shared
We may share limited information with service providers that perform functions on our behalf, including:
- AI inference and language-model providers.
- Image and document analysis providers.
- Speech-recognition services.
- Cloud hosting and database services.
- Authentication and account-management services.
- Security, fraud-prevention and error-monitoring services.
We may also disclose information where required by applicable law, a valid legal process, protection of users, investigation of abuse or defence of legal rights.
We do not sell personal information in exchange for money.
Data storage and retention
Some information, such as settings, drafts and chat history, may be stored locally on your device. Information may also be stored on secure backend infrastructure when required for account sync, conversation processing, attachments or service operation.
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to provide the service, resolve disputes, prevent abuse and comply with legal obligations.
Temporary uploads may be removed after processing or after the applicable retention period. Backup copies may remain for a limited period before being safely overwritten or deleted.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information.
- Network requests should be transmitted using encrypted HTTPS connections.
- Private provider credentials are intended to remain on secure backend infrastructure and should not be placed inside the Android app.
- Access to stored information is limited to authorized systems and personnel where reasonably possible.
- Security logs may be used to detect misuse and investigate incidents.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your privacy choices
You may be able to:
- Delete individual chats or all chat history.
- Remove selected attachments before sending them.
- Disable microphone or camera permission through Android settings.
- Use text input instead of microphone input.
- Use the app without uploading images or files.
- Change language, memory and personalization settings.
- Request deletion of your account and associated information.
Account and data deletion
You may delete locally stored conversations using the data controls available inside Brix AI.
To request deletion of an account or server-stored personal information, contact Finix Studios using the email address provided below.
Please include the email address connected to your account and write “Brix AI Data Deletion Request” in the subject line.
We may need to verify that you own the relevant account before completing the request. Certain information may be retained when required for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution or legal compliance.
Children's privacy
Brix AI is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children below the minimum age required by applicable law without appropriate authorization.
If you believe a child has submitted personal information without proper consent, contact us so that we can review and take appropriate action.
International data processing
Service providers used by Brix AI may process information on servers located outside your state, region or country.
Data-protection laws in those locations may differ. Where required, reasonable safeguards are used for such processing.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in Brix AI features, legal requirements, security practices or third-party services.
